Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
The dinr.pt website uses cookies to ensure the correct technical operation of the platform, improve your browsing experience, and analyze visitor traffic for continuous service optimization. This policy explains in detail what cookies are, which cookies we use on our SaaS platform and our main website, for what purposes, and how you can manage your preferences.
1. What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone through your internet browser when you visit a website. These files allow the website to "remember" information about your visit, language preferences, active sessions, and interactions with the page, providing you with more efficient, fast, and personalized browsing.
Cookies do not damage your device, and the information contained in them is not associated with direct identification of the user (such as your full name), unless you have logged in to your personal SaaS account.
2. What Types of Cookies Do We Use?
At dinr.pt, we categorize cookies into three distinct groups based on their purpose:
A. Strictly Necessary Cookies (Technical)
These cookies are essential for the basic and secure operation of the website and our SaaS platform. Without them, the website will not function correctly.
- Purpose: Manage the active user session after logging in to the SaaS administration panel, protect the booking screen from malicious attacks (CSRF), ensure that table layout settings and temporary booking data are not lost during entry, and ensure secure processing of recurring payments on Stripe.
- Legal Basis: Legitimate interest in the technical and contractual operation of the software. These cookies cannot be disabled in our consent banner.
B. Functional Cookies (Preference)
These allow our website to remember choices and settings made by the user to improve their personalized experience.
- Purpose: Remember the selected language (Portuguese or English), save the preferred screen viewing size for tablets, or keep the admin panel in the color theme selected by the restaurant.
- Consent: These cookies require your prior consent, which is obtained through our cookie banner.
C. Analytical Cookies (Performance)
These collect statistical data in a completely anonymous and aggregated manner about the use of the website and the booking widget by visitors.
- Purpose: Know which pages of the dinr.pt website are most visited, measure the time it takes a user to complete a booking, and identify technical loading errors that may arise in the dynamic booking widget of the partner restaurant.
- Tools used: Google Analytics (with IP anonymization enabled) and internal Supabase cookies.
- Consent: These cookies require your prior consent, which is obtained through our cookie banner.
3. Management and Disabling of Cookies
Except for strictly necessary cookies, all other cookies will only be installed on your device if you give your explicit consent in our entry cookie banner.
How can you change or block cookies?
At any time, you can configure or disable cookies directly through your browser settings. Please note that by disabling all cookies (including necessary technical ones), access to the dinr.pt administration panel or the correct processing of online bookings may be severely compromised.
You can consult how to manage and remove cookies in the most popular browsers:
- Google Chrome: Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Cookies and other site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Options -> Privacy and Security -> Cookies and site data.
- Apple Safari: Preferences -> Privacy -> Cookies and site data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings -> Cookies and site permissions.
4. Updates to the Cookie Policy
dinr.pt reserves the right to update and rectify this Cookie Policy whenever new features or tools that make use of these technologies are added, in compliance with GDPR directives and the national legislation of Portugal. Any relevant change will be visibly indicated to users through a new cookie notice on their first visit after the update.
